Haywood Grows Farm Fest 2026 is a first-year event honoring western North Carolina farming traditions, with a special love for one of Appalachia’s most iconic crops — tomatoes. A joint venture between the Canton Merchant Partnership and Mill Town Farmers Market, the festival showcases local and regional farmers, artisan handicrafts, Appalachian foods, live music, storytelling, games, participatory activities, and a strong sense of community pride — all in a family-friendly atmosphere. And it’s free to attend!

The celebration begins Saturday, August 1 at 10am in Sorrells Park, Downtown Canton. There’s plenty of opportunities for you to get in on the action so be sure to check out the Contest Info page.
