Haywood Grows Farm Fest 2026 is a first-year event honoring western North Carolina farming traditions, with a special love for one of Appalachia’s most iconic crops — tomatoes. The festival showcases local and regional farmers, artisan handicrafts, Appalachian foods, live music, storytelling, games, participatory activities, and a strong sense of community pride — all in a family-friendly atmosphere.

The celebration begins Friday, July 31, in downtown Canton, featuring local vendors, activities, and community gatherings. The event continues into Saturday, August 1, culminating in a ticketed late afternoon/evening outdoor music festival held at a local farm, offering attendees an unforgettable farm-to-festival experience.
